What is a serviced apartment?

A serviced apartment is the modern alternative to staying in a hotel, apart hotel or renting an apartment.  All apartments come fully furnished and include a kitchen diner, lounge area, towels and linen.  The Chambers serviced apartments can be rented for as little as a night or as long as a year.  Serviced apartments are booked on a ‘per room’ basis rather than ‘per person’ so not only do they offer up to three times the size of a hotel bedroom but are better value and offer a ‘home from home’.

Where are your serviced apartments located?

The Chambers serviced apartments have two sites in the heart of Leeds.  Riverside West with 34 luxury apartments is situated on the banks of the river Aire and Park Place with 63 serviced apartments, is in the heart of the bustling financial district.  Both developments benefit from easy access to the motorway networks and are within a short walk of Leeds train station. 

What services and facilities are included in the price?

All utility bills and council tax are included in the price of the apartment. Please note that VAT is excluded from all prices. All the serviced apartments have free WiFi internet, DVD players, a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, cooking utensils, cutlery, towels and linen. Use of the gym (located at 30 Park Place) is also free of charge for those staying at either location.

How many people can stay in an apartment?

Our studio and one bedroom apartments can be booked for one or two people.  Two bedroom apartments include two double beds so can sleep up to four adults. Z beds can be provided for children under 12 and cots for babies.

Is car parking available?

At both The Chambers Riverside West and The Chambers Park Place secure underground parking is available.  Two bedroom apartments include one parking space, subject to availability.  Extra spaces are available (subject to availability) at a cost of £10 + VAT per night.   

Do you have internet access?

Yes, both locations offer free WiFi internet in every apartment.

Do the apartments have a telephone?

Each of the serviced apartments has a direct dial telephone so that friends and family can keep in contact with you while you are away.  Your telephone number will be given to you on check in.

When will the apartment be serviced?

All apartments are cleaned weekly, and linen changed.  Extra cleaning is available at a small additional charge.

Can I view the apartments before booking?

Of course, The Chambers team are always on hand to show you around the serviced apartments.  Simply call us on 0113 3863300 or email us at stay@morethanjustabed.com to arrange a viewing.

What time is check in/check out?

Check in time is from 2pm on the day of your arrival and check out is by 11am on the day of departure.  However, we are flexible on check in and check out times and we will try to accommodate your needs so please ask at time of booking.
