The Maurice Paynel Suite at Park Place

As The Chambers' flagship meeting room, no expense has been spared in creating an event space that really does mean business.

This light and airy suite of conference rooms can seat up to 28 delegates boardroom style or 75 theatre style, and comes equipped with the necessary facilities to host every type of meeting, including a room divider to create a more intimate space, should you require it.

Why not entertain your clients with our dining facility? A completely private room for you and your guests, with a range of bespoke seasonal menus to choose from. Have a change from restaurants and bars and enjoy flexibility and freedom. The Chambers' event staff can also source beverages to complement the chosen meal (see our Wine List for ideas), and arrange table decorations in a style and colour of your choice.

Why the Maurice Paynel Suite?

Named after the founding father of Leeds, who signed a royal charter from King John in 1207, The Maurice Paynel Suite at Park Place was formally opened by Kevin Grady, of Leeds Civic Trust on 12th November, 2007; 800 years to the day since Leeds’ birth.
