MORE AWARDS FOR THE CHAMBERS!

The Chambers is officially Leeds’ Best New Venue of the Year following a glamorous awards ceremony at The Royal Armouries.

The Insider Yorkshire Business Tourism Awards aim to reward companies who ‘go that extra mile’ in bringing business tourism to Yorkshire.

The Chambers was the only Leeds venue to be shortlisted, along with 5 other new venues across Yorkshire. The nomination recognises the success of the meeting rooms and event space opened at Park Place last year.

The meeting rooms have been used for a huge variety of events so far this year; from dinner parties to conferences and from breakfast meetings to fashion shows (more on page 2). Our experienced chefs have created a delicious and exclusive new menu for 2009, with breakfast, lunch and dinner options as well as canapes, afternoon tea and cakes and a wine list. Why not give us a try?

The Chambers’ past awards include ‘Best Luxury / Executive Home’ at the Yorkshire’s Finest Property Awards 2008 and ‘Best Restoration of An Historic Building’ at The Yorkshire Residential Property Awards 2008.

EXCLUSIVE FASHION EVENTS

Thursday 19th February was yet another glamorous night at The Chambers, as gorgeous Amanda Wakeley dresses were on sale at bargain prices at an exclusive fashion event.

Stunning models waltzed through the Reception at 30 Park Place, showing off a variety of outfits for sale. These ranged from past and present season dresses and shoes, to one-off sample pieces straight from the catwalk.

Guests nibbled on canapes and sipped pink champagne in between trying on clothes and attending style advice appointments with fashion guru Suzy Sheppard.

From little black dresses to fur coats, high-heeled boots to belts, all of the Amanda Wakeley pieces were reduced by up to 70% and were quickly snapped up by the fashionistas of Leeds!

Following on from this very successful event, we are going to be holding another Amanda Wakeley event soon…watch this space!

Just a few weeks later, The Chambers hosted yet another exclusive fashion sale, this time with a vintage theme. Fashion-lovers flocked to see the vintage designer items from Gucci, Prada, Stella McCartney and many more. From coats to bags, jewellery and shoes, there was a huge treasure trove to rummage through!
