If you are going to be stay in Leeds in the near future, it is important to make sure that your stay is as good as it possibly can be. Here are some tips for best enjoying the time that you spend in Leeds.
Visit all the key landmarks
Although Leeds is not normally a city that would be mentioned for its landmarks, there are plenty of beautiful landmarks to see in and around the city, so it is worth trying to see a few of these landmarks if you find yourself looking for something to do while you are in the city.
Here are some of the particularly fantastic landmarks you should try to visit while you are in the area:
County Arcade: if you are in the city centre, it is well worth dropping into the County Arcade for both its lovely shops and brilliant architecture. In the arcade, there are plenty of lovely shops that you would not normally come across in the bigger shopping centres that you will find in Leeds. For example, there are a lot of independent shops in this arcade, whereas other arcades and shopping centres in the city do not have this. This Art Nouveau arcade is definitely worth 30 minutes of your time when you are in the centre.
Town hall: although you wouldn’t typically go to a town hall for its beauty, the Leeds town hall is a truly outstanding piece of architecture that is also somewhat like a TARDIS; a lot bigger on the inside than you expect it to be!
Visit the Man Behind the Curtain
If you are looking for somewhere particularly nice to visit for food in Leeds, the Man Behind the Curtain is a particularly impressive restaurant that you will find in the centre of Leeds, but you will certainly have to book ahead of time. If you have not already heard of this restaurant, you might be wondering why we are recommending this restaurant in particular. Well, this restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2015 and 3 AA Rosettes in 2016, so you can pretty much rest assured that the food will be something special.
As we mentioned, you will likely have to book well in advance to get your table at this restaurant. Not only are tables at this restaurant particularly popular and sought after, but the restaurant generally only opens for 3 and a half hours when it is open – and that is only 5 days of the week!
Stay in serviced apartments Leeds
If you are going to be staying over in Leeds, you may as well stop in Leeds with style with serviced apartments Leeds. Serviced apartments Leeds are the ideal place for you to stay during your stay in this fantastic city.
Staying in serviced apartments Leeds holds numerous benefits that make them better than hotels. For example, with a serviced apartment you have a kitchen so that you can cater for yourself, which you would be unable to do if you stopped in a hotel, as these do not usually have kitchens.
